For showrooms, retail floors, offices, break rooms, restrooms, entryways and back rooms, a polyaspartic coating gives you a clean, durable floor that's back in use quickly: foot traffic within hours, vehicles in about a day or two. We grind and repair the slab, coat it in flake or solid color, and schedule around your hours.

Where a coated floor earns its keep
Showrooms and retail
A bright, even floor that shows off what's on it and cleans up with a mop.
Offices, break rooms and restrooms
Spills wipe up, and there's no carpet or tile grout to stain.
Shops, service bays and back rooms
Oil, salt and grit stay on top of the concrete.
Entryways
Flake texture or grit for grip where snowmelt comes in.
Heavy industrial floors are a different job. Constant forklift traffic, food processing and harsh chemicals call for specialty systems. Send photos and we'll tell you honestly whether yours is a fit.
Downtime is the real cost
Epoxy floors can need several days and up to a week before vehicles go back on them. Polyaspartic cures much faster: walkable within hours and ready for vehicles in about 24 to 48 hours. Most smaller spaces are done in a day, so the work can be planned for a closed day or a weekend.
Prep is the same as a garage, done at scale
Every commercial floor gets a full diamond grind with dust extraction, repairs to cracks and joints, and a moisture check where the slab is on grade. Old coatings and sealers come off completely. Sections that settled, like a sunken slab at an overhead door, get lifted first.
1Diamond grindThe whole floor is ground with diamond tooling and vacuumed. This opens the concrete so the coating has something to bite into. No acid etching.
2Repair cracksCracks, pits and spalls are filled and ground flush so they don't show through the finished floor.
3Base coatA base coat goes down over the ground concrete. This is the layer that bonds to the slab.
4Broadcast flakeFlake is thrown into the wet base coat until it covers the floor, then the excess is scraped and vacuumed off.
5Clear topcoatA UV-stable clear topcoat locks in the flake, sets the texture for grip and takes the wear.
Illustrations, layers exaggerated for clarity. Most garages are done in a day; parking time depends on the system.
What it costs
Nationally, professional coatings run about $4 to $12 per square foot installed (HomeGuide). Your price depends on the size, the repairs and the finish, and comes from photos of the floor. See the coating cost guide.
How long is a commercial space out of use for a floor coating?
Most smaller spaces are coated in a day. People can walk on a polyaspartic floor within a few hours, and vehicles can go back on it after about 24 to 48 hours. We plan the install around your closed days or a weekend.
Can you coat a commercial floor that has an old coating on it?
Yes, once the old coating is off. It's ground away along with the weak top layer, because a new coating is only as strong as what's under it.
How much does a commercial floor coating cost in Green Bay?
Nationally, professional floor coatings run about $4 to $12 per square foot installed (HomeGuide). Where your floor lands depends on the square footage, crack and joint repair, any old coating to remove and the finish. Send photos and rough dimensions of each area for a price by text within 24 hours.
Can you coat our floor on a day we're closed?
Yes, that's how most commercial jobs are planned. Most smaller spaces are coated in a day, and people can walk on a polyaspartic floor within a few hours, so after a Sunday or holiday install you can usually open on schedule the next morning. Areas where vehicles park need about 24 to 48 hours.
Can you coat our floor in sections so we can stay open?
Often, yes. On a larger floor we can split the work at doorways or other clean lines and close one area at a time while the rest stays in use. Each area has to be cleared of shelving and fixtures first, and the coating smell carries, so we plan ventilation for the side that's open.
Will grinding the floor make a mess in our store or office?
Some dust and a lot of noise. Our grinders run with dust extraction vacuums that capture most of the dust as we go, but merchandise and equipment near the work area should be covered or moved. The noise is one more reason most businesses book the work for a closed day.
Does a coated commercial floor meet ADA slip-resistance requirements?
It can, with grip built in. The ADA standards require floors on accessible routes to be stable, firm and slip resistant without setting a test number, so we add flake texture and grit in the topcoat at entries, restrooms and anywhere the floor gets wet. Walk-off mats at the door still help in winter.
Will a floor coating leave a lip at our doorways?
No. Each coat goes on at about 6 to 12 mils, or thousandths of an inch, so the finished floor is far thinner than the 1/4 inch the ADA allows for a vertical change in level. Where the coating stops at carpet or tile, we finish it to a clean, straight edge.
Can you coat a restroom floor in a business?
Yes, once it's down to bare concrete. A coated restroom floor has no grout lines to stain, mops clean, and gets grit in the topcoat because restroom floors get wet. We plan around toilets, partition posts and floor drains from your photos so the work fits a closed day.
Can you coat a showroom floor that vehicles drive on?
Yes. It's the same polyaspartic system we put in garages, so it's made for tires, and it gives a car, boat or powersports showroom a bright floor that cleans up with a mop. Vehicles can go back on after about 24 to 48 hours, so plan the install for a closed day or weekend with the inventory moved out.
Is a polyaspartic coating right for forklifts or a commercial kitchen?
Not always. It suits foot traffic, carts and vehicles on rubber tires, but constant forklift traffic, food processing and harsh chemicals call for specialty industrial systems, which we don't install. Send photos and tell us how the floor is used, and we'll tell you honestly whether yours is a fit.
Can we use an auto scrubber on a coated floor?
Yes, with a soft pad or brush and a pH-neutral cleaner. Skip aggressive pads, acid, vinegar or citrus cleaners, bleach and soap-based products that leave a film. Daily dust mopping does most of the work, since tracked-in grit is what wears a topcoat; more in cleaning concrete floors.
Does a coated floor need stripping and waxing like VCT?
No. The clear topcoat is the wear layer, so there's no wax to strip and reapply. Clean it with a pH-neutral cleaner, and if the traffic lanes dull after years of use, the topcoat can be scuffed and recoated without grinding the whole floor again.
How long does a coated floor last in a busy business?
It depends mostly on traffic and care. Cost guides cite 10 to 20 years or more for professionally installed polyaspartic floors in homes; a busy retail entry wears faster in its walk paths than a back room does. Walk-off mats, regular dust mopping and a fresh topcoat when the lanes dull keep it looking good longer.
Do commercial floor coatings come with a warranty?
Yes. Every coating we install comes with a written warranty, and the written warranty on your quote spells out what's covered before you approve anything. If something isn't right, text us a photo and we'll come take a look; how that works is on our warranty page.
